
Lynne Alpar is Chief Financial Officer and Partner at the Dallas-based hedge fund, Carlson Capital, L.P. She joined Carlson in 1993 and she manages the accounting, operations, tax, and reporting functions of the Black Diamond Funds® and Carlson Capital, L.P.
Prior to joining Carlson, Ms. Alpar spent six years as the Accounting Manager for Acadia Partners, L.P. where she gained extensive experience in securities accounting. From 1983 to 1987, she was a Tax Accountant and Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young.
Ms. Alpar is a member of the AICPA, the Texas Society of CPAs, and currently serves on the board of the Texas Hedge Fund Association. She was a founding board member of Capital for Kids. She previously served on the National Board of Governors for Legatus for three years, and the Finance Council of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church for four years. She is also actively involved in the Stephen Breen Memorial Foundation. Ms. Alpar earned her B.B.A. from Texas Christian University.
